MUSEUM LONDON, IMAGINATION STATION MONITOR; LONDON, ON — SEPTEMBER 2016- PRESENT

Working as a monitor, helping children and families working with different mediums including painting, sculpture, and mixed media.


MUSEUM LONDON, P.A. DAY ART INSTRUCTOR’S ASSISTANT; LONDON, ON — NOVEMBER 2017- PRESENT

Working as an assistant to art instructor’s assistant during P.A Day camps, aside an instructor. Activities and materials varied on camp theme.

 

INTERN FOR KIM MOODIE; LONDON, ON — SEPTEMBER 2016- PRESENT

Assisting painter, Kim Moodie by working to finding a variety of symbols to create grounds in his paintings, and making stencils with individual and combinations of symbols.

 

MUSEUM LONDON, ART INSTRUCTOR; LONDON, ON — SEPTEMBER 2017

Working as an art instructor during during Museum Hack tours. Leading the participants with a studio activity dealing with positive and negative space, in relation to the Robert Fones exhibit.

 

MUSEUM LONDON, FULL-TIME ART INSTRUCTOR’S ASSISTANT; LONDON, ON — JULY- SEPTEMBER 2017

Working as an assistant to art instructor’s assistant during summer camp. Leading the participants on tours of the exhibitions, entertaining them with games and activities on breaks, and rain days.

❖ Coordinating with the Instructor who will direct the course outline

❖ Prep and clean up of activities

❖ Assisting children with art projects, facilitating to answers questions, etc.
❖ Overseeing and coordinating games and activities during morning and afternoon breaks, as well as lunch time

BIJAN’S ART STUDIO, PART-TIME ASSOCIATE; LONDON, ON — SEPTEMBER 2016-
APRIL 2017

Being knowledgeable of art supplies and techniques, to help customers with their requirements. While also being responsible of sharing store duties. Assisting in all areas, including:

Monitoring students working in the workshop; responsibilities include opening and closing the shop, as well as helping students access various tools.

 

MUSEUM LONDON, OUTDOOR TOUR GUIDE; LONDON, ON — AUGUST [2015, 2016, ] 2017

Providing an Outdoor Public Art Tour for group of approximately 40 people, showing them
the public work on displayed around the city, including: Public Art, Monuments and Memorials, and Mural Walks tours.

PRESENT

PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC TOURS AT MUSEUM LONDON. I HAVE FAMILIARIZED AND GOTTEN COMFORTABLE IN BEING ABLE TO SET UP AND PLAN FOR A TOUR, BE CONSISTENT AND ABLE TO EDUCATE THOSE WHO ARE COMING IN TO SEE WHAT THE MUSEUM OFFERS.
